Memorial Ship MIKASA Ubiquitous Guide is an interesting guiding system that offers detailed information on the exhibits in MIKASA by installing the free application on iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad.
By installing the free application on your iPhone or iPad, you can automatically receive detailed information on exhibits near you; eleven kokosil markers made with Bluetooth Low Energy technology have been sparsely installed in the ship, and they detect your current location. Interpretation is provided with short videos. In addition, some exhibits feature AR (Augmented Reality) technology that enables you to see interpretation about a person in drawings and pictures, by capturing one in the field of view of camera of your iPhone or iPad.
